Educational purpose

Content on nydualeligible.org is for general education about Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs), IB-Dual, default enrollment notices, and related New York dual-eligible topics. It is not legal, tax, or enrollment advice and is not an official determination by Medicare, CMS, or New York Medicaid.

Not a government site

This site is privately operated. Mentions of DOH, HIICAP/NYSOFA, New York Medicaid Choice, or Medicare.gov are for your convenience and do not mean we are endorsed by or part of those agencies, except that HIICAP is a free public counseling resource we encourage you to use: 1-800-701-0501.

No enrollment promises

Using the dual-plan help tool at /tools/dual-plan-help or submitting a form does not enroll you in, or disenroll you from, any D-SNP, IB-Dual arrangement, MAP plan, or Medicaid coverage. Default enrollment and opt-out are controlled by your official notice and the plan / state / CMS process.

Lead follow-up

If you request contact, you may hear from our first-party partners about educational options. Insurance-related discussions, if any, are with appropriately licensed parties. You can decline further contact at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we hold your information.

Vendor neutrality

We do not rate, rank, or recommend specific insurers, plans, or providers on this site. Any plan names that appear in your own notice come from your plan or the State, not from us.

Limitation

We strive for accuracy but do not warrant that all content is complete or current. Program names, notice rules, and phone numbers can change. Use official sources and free counseling for decisions that affect your coverage. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operator is not liable for decisions made in reliance on this site.

Acceptable use

You agree not to submit false information, scrape the site, or use it to interfere with any other person’s coverage. We may remove content or refuse service at our discretion.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
